Chipset??

I've tried looking on google to find out what my exchange chipset is. It has recently been upgraded to 21CN and I moved over to this service.

My router is a DGN2000

What's the chipset likely to be??

Infineon is one option

Doesn't it say in the router stats?

No. Not even in CLI unfortunately.

What routers are suited to that chipset??

I think the Speedtouch routers say, if you have a spare Thomson/Technicolor/SG

I've got a 585v6 and a 2wire 2700.

You could try plugging in the 585v6 and getting the stats , maybe from http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/dsl/dt/?ce=1&be=0&l0=1&l1=0. The answer might be in the Vendor ID.

No idea, I suspect but have no proof that factors like actual noise environment and firmware version will have just as much influence.

I got upgraded to 21cn in July and the exchange is using infineon chipset.

Currently using a linksys wag160n sync'd at 18.8Mb.

Also tried a BT Homehub 2.0 and only sync'd at 16Mb. Also tried a Thomson ST585 V6 which connected at around 13Mb at first and then just went crazy disconnecting all the time.

Attn = 25.5db
snr = 2.5-3.0db

Thinking about trying to get an infineon chipset based router to test like a dgn1000 to do a comparison.
