A query about errors

I have now got a Billion 7700N router and have been persuading it to reduce the SNR. Just set it once and it came down to 8.5 and over the last few days it has reduced further to around 7.

With the Netgear I had I did not try reducing it since it seemed to drop out anyway and the SNR always sat around 12-13.

Looking at the xDSL stats some errors are shown. Are these significant to effect line speed?

As a percentage of the cells carried across the connection they don't look particularly large

Proof is in the use, e.g. if an online gamer the occassional errors may be very annoying

Would help to know how long connection been up? Where's Total AS?

Good to know. From the ISP logs there have not been any dropouts since I changed the SNR on Sunday.

Not a gamer so no worries.

I assume you mean the total time running? I have looked through all the pages but cannot not find the info. From the ISP it has been running without fault since Sunday evening.
