BT, EE and Talk Talk fibre broadband

I am currently on O2 The Works package, getting 11Mbps down/ 1.1Mbps up, line is solid and fast. Here is what I am paying:

Broadband: O2 The works package, 13POUNDS/month
Phone line: Post office HomePhone with Anytime, 14POUNDS/month
Total = 27POUNDS/month

However, the following FTTC providers are available now and I am looking to move:

Traffic shaping: Yes, mainly on P2P traffic during

It turns BT is the cheapest option while Talk Talk got better traffic shaping policy. I did download a bit (200GB a month) and landline is also important to me. Could anyone suggest which option is better?

While TalkTalk Essential is unlimited now, I believe there is a contract clause allowing them to return it to their old 40GB allowance if they want to at a later date.

Not 100% sure, so would recommend reading up.

The P2P restriction that is worrying you, while TalkTalk looks better on paper, in practice it will vary from week to week as to which is the best one in that specific regard.

Thanks mate, I am talking about their fibre option, not sure the unlimited defintion is the same or not.

Regarding to P2P traffic, BT or emule is not problem for me, I could use them outside the peak time. However, there are many applications using P2P protocal such as Skype, some game updater, some TV programs like (PPS, PPTV, etc) which is a big concern for me.

Has anyone do any experience with this Streaming and Video conferencing at peak time?

P2P usually refers to torrent activity, rather than the wider peer to peer concept.

Skype moved away from P2P to central I thought with changes by Microsoft, or has that not happened.
