might explain VM's refusal to pay for upgrades outside of for new products then as that will have improved cashflow.

Seems this time a proper takeover rather than just using branson to rebrand so could be interesting times ahead for VM.

Liberty Global announcement.

Virgin Media reported its operating profit rose nearly 30% to £699.1m last year.

There is an intent to add $3bn to VMs debt ... what will that do to the end user price, any caps that they may put in place, upgrades to the network, customer service and upgrades ...
