Installation time scale

I am currently organizing a newbusiness line with ADSL broadband service for two addresses in Midhurst. I had thought it would be two to three weeks before the service would be available to use. Not so, at one address it will take 8 weeks and the other 12 weeks.

Just unlucky or is that now the normal wait time? I am told the time scale is pruely down to Openreach who are apparently way behind because of weather related issues.

Back logs from the weather and continued demand may mean delays like this are possible
