Similiar to my previous question on ofcom.
1 - How do I tell ofcom my view on this complaint, or is it the case I cant?
2 - How did talktalk even raise the complaint? they have a communications channel joe public does not have?

2 - How did talktalk even raise the complaint? they have a communications channel joe public does not have? I assume that channel is available to anyone who qualifies as a Communications Provider .

Just read your article now Andrew.
It's good to see how urgently they are considering it, so as to avoid any possible deleterious effects on any competitors .
Talk about an overblown bureaucracy!

I think low priced LLU should now be not a primary concern, the primary concern should be rollout of the new technology, that doesnt happen when you rip profits from the company rolling it out.

You've lost me there. I hope you didn't take my post seriously, apart from the final sentence which was very much so.

so who works for the public?
My MP is under the impression ofcom is there to serve the public. Its also made to look like ofcom is there to improve things for the consumer but just choosing to do it via way of enforcing competition.
the minister in charge of broadband wrote back to my MP that ofcom is also supposed to be as open to the public as they are to isp's, my MP has wrote back to that minister saying its not the case and we are both waiting back for the next reply. So it does seem another one of those things where a body isnt doing the same thing as ministers say they are.

Ofcom is there to promote competition, in the belief that more competition is good for the consumer.
Generally means regulate the various arms of BT in terms of telecoms

1. They will invite submissions at some point, or you can email the responsible officer whose address is in the publicity.
2. Well a) they read things and b) they can write letter. That probably excludes a large swathe of the public.
It'll be a long and complex process, defining the costs of various elements and comparing that with the charges and looking for distortions etc etc. Then invite comments and rework some aspects, etc.

We are heading to a more US style business economy where going to the courts and/or regulators is the norm in trying to get ahead of the competition.
Look at Apple/Google/MS/Samsung et al their legal departments are suing each other all the time.
Whatever happened to "let the market decide"?
