FTTC...but what about my Cab?

FTTC is available in my BT exchange but not to by cabinet. How do I find out when my cab is due to be enabled or indeed whether there are plans to enable it?

Check the infill lists in our announcements otherwise likely to be a BDUK gap funded one so check with county council

A date of 31/12/13 is given along with the Cab number. Is the info usually accuate?

Accuracy varies but a date means at least on the list

Right. So my Cab will definately be enabled for FTTC? I've wondered because much of the area is cabled for Virgin Media.

Your cab is definitely on the list is more the statement. That doesn't mean it will definitely be enabled as they may hit an insurmountable problem - unlikely but possible. Plans change when you get to the reality of doing them.

Location does not suggest anything insurmountable but you never know with BT!
