Sam Knows - Fibre RFS dates updated?

Back in the spring of last year, my exchange was marked up as 1st May this year. Later in the year, it changed to just "2014", then as winter was coming, it disappeared to "Not available".

I just checked, and it's back to 1st May 2014.

Maybe there's been a few updates to others' exchanges too if getting similarly confusing date changes, so take a peek.

No change to mine.

Has said 2014 for a while now. Even though cabs have been installed and BT are installing fibre as well.

I can't be sure, but I have a feeling I won't get FTTx. Half of my exchange (not my half) has VM, and I wonder if BT will be happy to roll out to the cab areas covered by VM only. They have a history of only rolling out where there's competition.

Mmm. The other thing is that what little commercial premises we have in our village, they are all in the VM half.

same thing happened to my exchange had a date now not avalible.

But we are getting it alot of work going on with cables and alot of cabs getting installed

Same here for 3 local exchanges, dates have been replaced with "calendar year" - which doesn't fill me with confidence given BT's rather flexible position with regard to commercial viability of upgrades (not viable unless talk talk unbundle)

I'm now expecting to still be hanging on the end of a fairly unstable copper loop at the end of the year with no fibre twixt me and the exchange.

Its a shame Sam Knows cant get some updated figures for the "line count" which hasn't moved at my exchange in all the time I have been using the site, despite many years of new developments being built around here. There are now a lot more than 7997 lines on SWPM - the local BT guys estimate over 10k.
