Speed Deterioration during Fibre rollout.

Hi,

I live in Wapping which is ear-marked to have fibre from March 2014. I haven't seen any cabinets popping up yet but I have seen some minor works which I think are related. About 3 weeks ago or so my ADSL line went from a poor 6mbps ish to a painful 500Kbps (it is like being back when I first got NTL broadband in 2000 except then I felt lucky). Is this dramatic drop in speed likely to be related to the work being carried out on the network, or is it more likely to a different issue?

What are the line stats from your router,

i.e. connection speed, attenuation and noise margin for both downstream and upstream
