Fastpath and Interleaved gaming?

I don't want to know what they are (I'm pretty clued up)

On an interleaved line I get a 18-25 ms ping.
On a fastpath line I get a 10-13 ms ping.

I'm not talking about general browsing as I'm aware that there will be a minimal loss on fastpath.

I'm wanting to know about online gaming preferably fps such as cod ghosts

My theory is could I squeeze an extra couple of bullets out my gun within the 10ms plus difference between the IP profiles ?

(I suffer from no packet loss at all on both profiles. But very rarely like 5 percent of the time a may get a ping spike and throughput loss on fastpath but this dosnt bother me as I'm only 1.5 km from the exchange and have an attenuation of 23.7)

Yes lower latency gives you an advantage on the draw if all other issues are equal.

As you noticed without the error correction of interleaving you get the odd blip, so its either accept a consistent slightly higher latency or go for the idea that you are better than all the others.

NOTE: Some games compensate to level the latency playing field, which can be frustrating for low ping players, so getting a game where everyone has the same ping gives a better game.

If you were talking about difference between 100ms and 200ms then it can be expected to get an advantage. A change between 10ms and 20ms though I suspect is just too insignificant to get any real benefit. I may be wrong.
