talktalk- what speed should i be getting?

(first of all my service is nothing to complain about, in comparison to others)

Ive had talktalk for 6 months now and have noticed my speeds are not as good as they should be due to their 6db profile, but i believe i should have a couple more meg on my line.

Here are my stats:

Previously when i had sky on a 3.8db profile set by dlm i was receiving a 19000 kbps sync. I do know that on talktalk the 6db snr margin doesn't do any justice. I am looking for a second opinion on whether or not my line should handle more sync speed? (hope i have made sense)

Correct, you should be getting at least 17 meg on a 27db attenuation line. Prior to moving to fibre on Talktalk, my modem synced at ~18meg on a 29db line (@6db SNR). I strongly suggest using a Draytek 120 v2 modem hooked up to your current router as from experience the Draytek gave me the best speeds on my TalkTalk ADSL2+ line.
