Returned from holiday a few days ago to find internet speeds much slower than when we left.
Have been getting results like these last night and this morning:
http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results.html...
which I'm told is because of high congestion, though it doesn't suggest why it's happening or how to fix it.
Any help?

Who is telling you it is high congestion? Sky, or someone else?
Is it Sky LLU or Sky Connect? It looks like Sky Connect to me. Well known to be rubbish, unlike their excellent LLU.

Have you power-cycled your router? Just once, not several times.

First we presume this is a speed test done over an Ethernet connection? WiFi issues can cause similar problems. The fact that the tbbx1 is holding up fairly well points to possible WiFi.
Saturday morning should be a fairly quiet time, but it is the summer holidays so that may not be the case. Are speed tests at silly times e.g. 1am to 6am any more stable?
It is possible that the backhaul at your exchange is congested badly and the fix times for this vary, depending on how bad things are.

When I run the test, it suggests that the result is due to high congestion.
Not sure which Sky it is - my issue is mainly that it's only started recently and was fine before.

What sort of figures do you normally get?

Looking at graphs I can see why we suggest the high congestion.
The point about Sky Connect needs to be explore more (skipped mind earlier) look at the connection statistics for the router, what speed is the downstream and upstream connecting at. If 448 Kbps upstream almost certainly Sky Connect and at that point advice is easy - change provider.

Unsure - I've only started using the speed test recently. I noticed the issue because I play a lot of games online with friends.

This test was over WiFi, I'll try again over ethernet.
And what is power-cycling?

And what is power-cycling?
Turning the power off for a few seconds, then on.
