"Pro" is a hangover from the days when the top allowance products were traffic managed in the old-fashioned way and gave you a bit of priority over other customers. It isn't normally needed on the current true-unlimited products, and in fact if a family uses the connection heavily Pro would be more likely to degrade VOIP than without Pro, as it ups the priority of other stuff. If your connection is lightly used then the whole question becomes irrelevant
, as the network capacity is these days added to regularly.
It's still in the price list because plenty of people are still on the older products.
