Time to call up all ISp's to have Fibre Voice Access!

I think it time to call up all ISP's to have Fibre Voice Access instead of line rental with old copper wiring for the phone service.

Time to move forward! Do u agreed?

The question is would it actually make any difference to what a person pays? I suspect in the end you would end up paying exactly the same amount.

Also, I assume you are talking about FTTC services (which require a copper line and therefore maintenance for the copper) rather than FTTP (as most ISPs don't even offer FTTP services at the moment)?

FVA requires FTTP, for obvious reasons.

In which case it is a tiny proportion of the country and there are very few ISPs selling products on it. So calling all ISPs to do something when most are not even selling a product is a little pointless.

Not many ISPs have the resources to cable areas themselves either tongue wink.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.6/14.1Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

What is it that you think they should get rid of? The copper? Or the charge for line rental?
