Does fibre also bring 21CN?

[link to this post]

My exchange (Slinfold) will be upgraded with fibre this year but this won't benefit my property. I just wondered will they also have to install 21CN kit?

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on which exchange fibre is connected too. Eg Falmouth takes fibre feed for 8 smaller exchanges

Even if they do you won't gain much if only on 4Mbps now.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.6/14.1Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

I presume their attenuation was above 45dB then?

4Mbps at 1.8 km is slow

My small 20CN exchange has just been upgraded for FTTC - but there's no 21CN services available.

ADSL or VDSL(FTTC) are on offer.

"When his product change has completed I will have another look. I can't even remote in because his upload is 380kbps where it should (and has been when he joined) 990kbps"

What sort of shonky remote access are you using that 380kbps is not enough?!?
