Hey guys, im considering getting satellite internet out at the ranch for some basic stuff, nothing too heavy on usage. it's really the only option out there unless i want to eat up data on my cell. anyone have experience with it
COST is the biggest issue. High latency can be an issue for some applications but for mail and browsing it is fine.
If you have reasonable cellular coverage and speeds it would almost certainly be cheaper to either add extra data to your cellular plan or get a suitable cellular modem or dongle on a new account with plenty f data allowance.
