local cabinets deemed not worthy

What will happen to local cabinets deemed not worth upgrading to fttc due to up take or positioning of cabinet. Will those of us just be forgotten or do u think some company will take over and make the upgrades

Many options, worst might be that you become part of the 1% that is waiting post 2019.

FTTP is an option.
FTTrN is an option
G.Fast is an option
4G is an option
Fixed Wireless is an option.

As for another company taking over, its an option but will depend on where you are, for example the test pilots for the final 5% areas are NOT using BT at all, so might be people you've never heard of before who become the option for your area.

If BT didn't deem them financially viable I really can't see anybody else taking them on unless you form some sort of local co-operative to drag your community into the 21st century.

Realistically I'm guessing the only way forward will be some sort of wireless technology.
