We have recently moved home and BT have set our line up but have been unable to do the same with the broadband. Upon chasing BT on why they missed the activation deadline they claim our line is showing on 0.5MBs. Having checked BT's own website and other providers we should be getting between 7 and 17 MBs when I enter our address including house number. However once I input or number BT's website says their is a problem and other providers says speed 0MBs.
Can anyone explain what is happening? The neighbours all have broadband. BT are next to useless and keep putting back the date they say they will send an engineer to the exchange. We are tild by one advisor we can get infinity if we want, another says we cannot.
