Information needed for 12 months minimum period clarificatio

My friend phoned BT to change her ADSL and phone package which is out of the 12 months period and added additional two phone products which triggered a new 12 months contract. After four days and within the 14 days right to cancel she reconsidered and cancelled the additional products and reverse to her original out of contract package.
My question that I need clarification for is, by going back to her original package will she still be on out of the 12 months contract as before?

What do BT say about it?

Additional packages have been cancelled but they did not confirm if reversing to original package would still be out of the minimum period. I have asked my friend to contact them again and get them to confirm one way or the other without telling them that she would now like to switch to another ISP. Waiting for her to let me know what BT says.

Just had confirmation from my friend that BT has said that the original package is still out of the 12 months contract but the reversal of the new additional package will take five days which means that she will have to wait five days before she can switch ISP.

It might be a long five days but at least your friend is not in a new 12 month contract with BT according to what she was told.
