BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test - How Reliable?

Twice recently I have received weird results from the BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test site.

I live in a slow broadband area with a DSL rate of 2 Mbps or less and an IP profile of 1.9 Mbps or lower.

On one occasion I was told my download speed was more than 55 Mbps and today that it was 25 Mbps (in reality it was 1.7 Mbps as shown by the TB Speed Test site and later by BT's own speed test site).

So it had led me to ask the question how reliable is the BT Wholesale Speed Test site?

It depends on exactly what figures you're referring to. Can you post all of the actual results from the BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test site please?

Just gave it ago and the result was OK for my slow ADSL connection.

Have you downloaded any new software or upgrades recently e.g. Anti Virus or a new Internet Security Suite?

I see you're getting the same error as I am.

I've not been able to see my IP profile for around a week now.

The easy to fix this ip profile not showing on BTw Performance Test is to raise this with Plusnet Staff named scrookes in Plusnet Community (send him in his private message) he will sort this out for you.
