Call Flow broadband - TV?

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and wonder if someone can help as very clueless with all this. I currently get my broadband, landline and TV from Sky which is costing me over £100 a month. The broadband speed is ridiculously slow, download 0.85, upload 0.81 meaning I can't work from home and it takes overnight to download a film. I've been recommended to move to Call Flow as the coverage is much better in the area of Kent in which I live, however I'm not sure what options I have with TV. Will I still be able to get Sky, or Virgin, if I don't have their broadband? As I say, very clueless about all this so any advice (or knowledge of Call Flow) very gratefully received! Thanks

Sky TV comes over a satellite dish, no relation to their broadband.
Virgin TV is down a cable which tends to limit you to TV and phone also down their cable.

You could try NowTV which is Sky without the contract

Always worth describing your set up at home too, with regard to extensions, micro filters etc, these can have a hugely detrimental affect on your broadband speed.

What line stats does the Sky router show please ?

That's it ... just for a sanity check, choose the "Address Checker" at the bottom of my link. Enter your postcode and click <Submit>, then from the drop down select your house. Repeat with you neighbours - do the results all look similar?


If they are all similar to those from your number along with the router stats, it will be reasonable to assume that what you are seeing is in te right ball park for your line.
