UK IPv6 Council meeting today.

Agenda.

Sky, BT, EE, Virgin, and the BBC will be giving updates about their progress.

Unfortunately i don't think they record the talks but presentation slides are usually made available on the council site afterwards.

Presumably TalkTalk submitted a written question asking what IPv6 is.

Probably Virgin too, they haven't started either.

The slides are quite interesting - though difficult to understand.

I see this web site gets a mention on the Sky slides.

I do now wonder if you risk any IPv6 compatibility issues if you use your own router.

So what is your box and how is it connected?

8800nl in bridge mode for modem and monitoring stats to mydslwebstats.
3 port amd 64 12v firewall/router

Pfsense is free. Will work on any modern pc just about provided you have 2 nics. Great to be able to test first. I bought specific hardware due to wanting low power small device

Thank you. Pfsense does get a mention on the Sky slides.

I love the open vpn on it with my pro fixed IP I got pre phasing out.

I have IPv6 running on OpenWRT with Sky thanks to the folks of this forum
