Congestion for 20 hours a day?

I have been trying to test a clients ADSL connection (it is unusable).

What are you expecting us to say exactly? What�s the provider? Exchange?

Provider: The phone co-op (business) over a talk-talk line.
Exchange SWHV

Connection sync about 6000 Kbps Down and 1000 kbps up
Speedtest results (when able to test) about 2.4 Mbps down and 0.1 Mbps up (ping >200 ms)

Have Co-op spoken to TalkTalk then?

That will be my next phone call (It is now after 9 AM)

TalkTalk LLU then?

If so maybe phone coop need to buy more capacity from TalkTalk

From what I have read Talk Talk business offer a reasonable service.

If it helps, this looks to be provider specific.

The line is quite heavily used and the usage reflects on the latency seen but nothing as bad as your base latency it seems.

I think I may have advised you on these forums about your problem at the time...
The exchange in question has Talk Talk LLU so different .....yes this would be a (Wholesale) Talk Talk business line.

Just been back on site and noticed the incoming line to the master socket is cable tied for a few 10's of metres to a 3 inch square metal duct (mains electric by the looks of it). The building is an ex-agricultural warehouse; I could not find the point of entry of the phone lines, it may be a locked side room (landlords office).

I am up loading to MyDSLWebstats under the username snowPSF.
