Router randomly disconnects wifi connected devices

[link to this post]

The Router is a TP Link v900.
The mobile phones randomly loose wifi connection and when logging back onto the wifi get the message, timed out or wrong password.

To get around this I switch off the router - its quite hot to touch, let it cool and reboot it. If that doesn't work then all I can do is do a factory reset of the phone (phones).

I did think a rogue app may have caused this, but it happens to all mobile phones in the house and the wifi connected laptop. We have different mobile phones.

Any advice please?

Is the router in direct sunlight? Or a very hot room given the current weather?

The router is in the shade all day long and the fault has happened when cooler frown
