ISP changing Support from 24-7 to 08:00 - 22:00 (Contract Q)

I received a mail from my ISP today advising they will no longer have a 24-7 support desk.
As this is a change in contract, I am hoping that I will have an option to change my contract also.
I am currently in a 12 month contract with 8 months remaining.
I know when BT modify their price, you can leave them if you disagree with the change and notify them within 30 days.

Does anyone have any idea if I will be able to change to a monthly contract without charge? or worst case, even leave without penalty?

I am hoping to change to a monthly contract.

Is this ISP BT, or Cotswold Wireless?

Edit: But if BT a change to monthly contract would not be possible, and almost certainly not Cotswold either. The 30 days to give notice of leaving is an Ofcom requirement.

It�s neither.
However I didn�t really want to mention isp names at this point.
I just used BT as an example.

Sorry for being an idiot.... we do have a BT hub now on fibre, it used to be Sky. I typed Sky by mistake apologies.
Thoughts?
