different results on Speedtest (SSL vs NON-SSL)

[link to this post]

Hello

I have used TBB speedtest for some time, it always reports the same result which is excellent but grade B for latency while downloading and grade D for latency while uploading

however, when I use the NON-SSL version I get better results? I get even lower (better quality) rating and latency while downloading is Grade A and latency while uploading is a grade B

why is this?

thanks

With seeing the actual results hard to say if difference is significant or not

SSL can tax the CPU on your device a bit more so its worth seeing if there is a significant difference in CPU loading

Encryption adds latency.
