Are we ever likely to get Fibre here?

After all the problems with the old copper network that we've had over recent years, I just wish we could get a decent Fibre connection here.

Basically connected to a spur that comes from Cabinet 1 (Fibre enabled) on the Dalbeattie exchange. It's some 2k+ long and feeds probably around a dozen properties. I'm wondering if they will ever replace this with Fibre? Or are we doomed to be part of that small percentage that will never be upgraded?

No way with an ADSL2+ link is 4K ever going to be viable. frustrating that I have one of the new SKY-Q boxes but can't take advantage of this.

The R100 project? Or maybe even later stages of original BDUK project which is dropping FTTP in some other long line Scottish areas already
