Help please - new flat can't get line/bband -postcode error?

[link to this post]

Building converted to 4x flats and they have all been given a new postcode.
Postcode is on Royal Mail site for all the flats
dslchecker only shows one of the flats ,and typically not the one i need for my daughter who just moved in.
Openreach advised "Boronze" process for ISPs to apply for line, but none of the ISPs I tried can get an order through.

Openreach wont discuss any further; and ISPs (Plusnet is my preferred one) tried really hard but simply are unable to place an order.
daughter has to be able to work from home so this is causing an in issue with her work too frown

Looks like some sort of database error somewhere but how do I resolve this please?

It takes time for the database to update from when a new build is complete. If the developer did not inform Openreach of the need for new lines this can add to the delays e.g. may not be enough wires available and more need to be run physically to get you connected.

The retail ISP should be able to push this issue through, and that does work in some cases, though it may be computer says no and they need to liase with wholesale manually rather than use the automated order systems.

The old trick for resolving this is to just order a phone line service and then add the broadband later, since getting the physical line connected will trigger updates for the records.

On the current situation, consider 4G connectivity via people like EE or three

Thanks for the reply.
Actually I may have some progress from opereach.
I have just chaeked again and dslchecker.bt.com now lists all the flats which it did not before.
Plusnet havent caught up yet, but as you say this may be a propagation issue.
I really really dont wish to use BT as I have had multiple loathsome experiences with them over the years (I know Plusnet are owned by BT).
I just need to find the right person to talk to in Plusnet who can work this out.

okay - so an update on that - yes the datbase seems to have taken a step forward but none of the IPSs can do anything still.
So I guess I have to go the phone line only route.
Next question - what is the cheapest way to get a line installed without contract preferably without resorting to BT?

PlusNet can get a line installed for you, all (BT) line installs are done by BT Openreach whoever you are using for phone or broadband.

We've done quite a few 'awkward' line installs that require persistent nagging to Openreach where the network addressing needs sorting.
