Broadband and phone down?

After some advice here, I�m in Northern Ireland my phone and broadband went down today at lunch time. Apparently a major outage over here. The issues is no one else�s phone like is down only mine. If i phone my landline i get 3 beeps and it quits. If I lift my phone I get an engaged tone.

Now I am worried because I place an order with another provider which was cancelled for broadband and phone but today was supposed to be the go live date so yes we have an outage but I am worried some kind of line takeover has happened and this is talk talk we�re talking about, they�re useless.

How would I know or any advice? I spoke to the other provider bt who told me it�s definitely cancelled.

You'll need to take this up with your current provider.
