An excellent article and one of the few encouraging items around at this grim time. We must all hope that enough of the maintenance staff for all the utility industries stay well enough to keep them operating. They are certainly doing a great job so far.

Also worth noting is that Netflix operate the same model in the UK as they do in the US. Netflix have racks in large BT exchanges full of hard drives. I�ve seen them! Your content streams from one of them, it never travels over the internet if you�re on BT. I�m sure Sky/Virgin/whoever might have similar setups.

We didn�t need them to reduce the bandwidth of those streams here.
