Apparently one (and another three to stand about chatting)
No wonder it's costing so much to get it laid, there's four guys working in my street since 9am, one has been working non stop in one of the in ground chambers while the other three have stood around doing nothing for a solid three hours so far !

Probably due to those other three engineers were in between other jobs and that they wasn't assigned that job.
When they did our 2-Stage install there was engineers coming and going between jobs while the two engineers did our external work.

You're probably right, just seems a waste of resources but I thought it was similar to the old 'how many men to dig a hole' scenario.
I shouldn't complain really, FTTP will be availble in my street soon, whoop !!

As OR, at a guess, are key workers, they are going to get a whole lot more curtain twitchers watching them and questioning their motives with everyone at home bored.

Last time the national grid did some work they had 4 vehicles and more than a dozen workers. Most spent all day chatting and making tea. 3 guys were doing everything!
