BT deals for new users

[link to this post]

Has anyone managed to get a reduction on the FTTP deals on the BT website for the 300/500 and 900 packages? There is talk of in the blog comments on this site that some existing users have negotiated reductions on the published price. I rang BT this morning (new user) but was told that no reductions were available. My interest is in the 300/500 full fibre deal advertised at £50pm.

Also I was told that BT do not offer broadband without taking a landline which surprised me as I was planning on moving to VOIP. Not a deal breaker if I am not paying extra for it.

Given orders have been on hold and capacity to install will be less than ideal for a while unlikely to see lots of offers to drive demand in the short term

Quidco are currently offering £105 cashback for new BT Ultrafast customers so that might be your best bet.

BT have never sold FTTP broadband without line rental.
