So I live in Basingstoke, parts of my street have access to full fire but other parts don't and I can't for the life of me work out why and I have no idea when this "area" that I live in will get it.
There are a couple of these spots, Further down the road for example they have the post code of RG24 7BQ and I think the even numbers from 36 - 48 also can't get full fiber.
Do any of you know why?

Without knowing exactly where hard to guess with any confidence
Don't know of any FTTP within 250 metre radius of postcode you mention

Quick check at https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/... doesn't show anyone that can get FTTP So it doesn't appear to be only spots. I can't spot any FTTP in Old Basing . Nearest is in Up Nately or Houndsmills.

Thanks
The ofcom checker give me an Amber Triangle that seems to match up with what neighbors say:
"Amber triangle = broadband packages in this category are available to some, but not all premises in the selected postcode"
Getting so many mixed messages it's infuriating.
Neighbors say they have it, Checkers all give different results.
I think BTOR are the only ones who can answer.

Yup, I get different results accross the checkers, Don't know which to listen too, The ofcom one seems to match up with what neighbors tell me.

Perhaps the neighbours think they have fibre because the ISP sold them "fibre" (FTTC). Can you see any fibre infrastructure on the poles or at neighbour's premises?

Ofcom checker is not infallible, have seen areas with services claimed available when they are not.

Yep I think neighbours have got FTTC and FTTP mixed up if none of the neighbouring properties show up as having WBC FTTP on the DSL checker.

Yea this morning I had a chat with another guy.
Seems most are confusing FTTC with FTTP grr lol
Still seems that Virgin have provided fiber to parts of the street, So I guess part of the story is correct.
I'll contact virgin to find out why this is ans when they'll provide it to the rest of my street.
Thanks for all the responses people

Most of Basingstoke has Virgin Media cable through coax, could it be that? VM are very good at marketing their services as "fibre" because they are fast.
VM expansion in the UK is using fibre connectivity, but converting to coax at the home, so the same TV box, and cable modem ("hub") can be used. It is possible if some previously not served streets have VM added, that VM installed fibre to do this.
