Line fault

[link to this post]

When I lift the handset on my phone I get a rustling sound and sync drops. Any ideas, have booked an Engineer.

HR (high resistance) fault possibly.

Try a different filter just in case.

When the engineer attends, please ask them attempt to replicate the described fault, using their tester and butt phone. (There’s a fair few noobie engineers out there)

This fault might hang with your recent issue of DLM not lowering target SNR

Haha hope not. I have a feeling it is a chamber that has given me probs. before that is about 10m away from my gate and is usually full of water.

So hopefully the engineers PQ test will fail on leg balance, and the TDR will give a clear indication of distance to fault.

If your line fault issues were communicated to uno via an "open ticket" I'm sure you probably found their responses prompt, helpful and extremely efficient? smile
