Talk Talk leaflet.

[link to this post]

Came home from work today and there was a leaflet from Talk Talk in my letter box, the last time we had anything from Talk Talk was when FTTC started up here. Now that zzoomm is building a pure fibre connection around here, it seems like Talk Talk is trying to get people to sign up to their network for 18 months, i would not be surprised if they don't start having their rep in the city centre again, hassling people like the last time.

They are offering 38Mb/s average FTTC for £23, which once Zzoom gets going would only be £6 a month less than zzoomm's 100Mb/s, I can understand why Talk Talk is pushing out leaflets, I bet they are pretty worried about how many people will jump to fibre.

Saying that, I doubt they are the only ones, I would not surprise if we don't get leaflets from other providers trying to grab people coming to the end of their contract and grabbing them for 18 months or even more.

£23 a month is what I pay with plusnet for more or less the same speed, for me the speed is fine, but I know plenty of people who are waiting for proper fibre and will do the jump.
I will wait and see what Plusnet offers me at the end of my contract, i certainly would not join Talk Talk.
