New contract month to month

[link to this post]

I've sold my house (moving out in October) and moving to a new build that wont be ready until June 2022.
In the interim I'm renting a flat for 8 or 9 months.

Information online seems to suggest its pretty ropey 50 or 60Mb broadband only at the rented flat address, but worse, all providers want me to sign up for 18 or 24 months (Sky, BT, TalkTalk).

Are there any providers who allow a month to month new contract, or alternately 12 months with not so harsh early termination charges?

Pulse8Broadband. They use TalkTalk Business backhaul.

Monthly contract, no termination charge. I expect there is a connection charge if there's no active service.

What's the mobile signal like? There are several Home Wireless broadband suppliers now. See my sig for probably the cheapest. EE is probably the most expensive and fastest. You check with a PAYG SIM from the paper shop with and add a few GB, but bear in mind mobile phone inbuilt modems are usually a year or so ahead of mobile broadband router modems.

Connections: OnePlus 8 Pro, 4G+ (LTE) max 165Mbps down, 24Mbps up on Three Mobile, and B311 4G+ router, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up (Three)ZTE MF286D router speedtest.net 113/20Mbps.

Now TV do £22 a month for 80/20 and there is a addon for the install charge which converts it to one month.
From what i have seen its one of the cheapest, just note after 12 months the price will increase, details on the site.

@McHaggis69,

If I was you, I would use my mobile phone as a hotspot. This way it would save you getting a broadband connection for such a short term. Mind you this would only really work if you have < 10 devices that you want connected to the internet and you weren't really interested in speed in the short term.

Did this, exactly. Sold, rented while new build built. I was with Zen and they happily moved me and my fixed IP address to the rental and after six months to the new house. No problem, no fuss. Yes, now contracts each move but no extra fees or suchlike.

This is really easy to sign up for. I switched to this when it first came out it only takes a few minutes. Need your national insurance number if I remember and the rest is just regular stuff.
