Pending upgrade: ADSL2+- VDSL (FTTC)

[link to this post]

Hi All,

I’ve finally got around to booking an upgrade from ADSL2+ to VDSL FTTC. The date given to my ISP is 13 December. Monday. This is ten working days after booking. The BT note on my AAISP CQM page reads:

13 Dec 23:59:59 Track order ----------- Modify: Committed [FTTC 80Mbit/s 20Mbit/s] Your order will be delivered as soon as possible.

It’s all rather vague.

In your experience of this type of upgrade do things go through on schedule? What times of day does Openreach change things over.

Cheers...

Anytime. It's entirely up to Openreach when someone goes out and does the work.
