BT HUB2

[link to this post]

Hi , I have just upgraded to BT FTTP and have the Hub2 , but I cant find where to respond to ping for TBB graph
Is there a Hidden page ? or is it a different router needed ?
I had a Archer VR600 on my previous Plusnet FTTC connection

In all honesty, you shouldn’t need to, it’ll just work.

Not true.

BT Business does NOT block them and never has.

BT Consumer/Residential has only started to block them in the past few years.

by BT I was referring to the Consumer product... business customers get different CPEs

All Home Hubs and Smart Hubs have not allowed pings to WAN....that goes back as far as I remember ( worked there for 3 years )

NO, you referred to BT not Consumer.

And yet againn, you are wrong. I have a Smart Hub here which responds to WAN pings.

Get your FACTS right.

Obviously a bug then,

Go read some of the posts on their community - where people are told there is no function to allow pings on the WAN.

I'd love to know what magic you worked to get it to respond? smile

By plugging by BT Smart Hub into my BT provided Business co nection - quite simple. My BT SmartHub responds to WAN pings, or would if I put it back on my FTTP connection.
