I have become unhappy with Kaspersky Internet Security and uninstalled it.
Anyone have suggestion for a free programme please?

AVG, Avast, etc.

Try them and swap if not happy.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1, VM 2Mb & O2 Standard
Utility Warehouse (up to 16mbps) via Talk Talk, upgraded to fibre 40/10

Or even Windows Defender if using Windows 10/11.

Thank you both for prompt replies.

I have Defender with Windows 11. Is this running in the background?

If you have removed any other anti virus suite, go into 'settings', 'privacy & security', 'windows security', this will tell you if need to activate Defender, or if it is already running.

It should be, as the other poster says check it is running after you have removed another product.

The built in Defender in Win10 and Win11 has recently had some really good reports in various AV comparison sites. You shouldn’t need anything else for most people.
