Anyone else noted increased latency today 21/11/22?

I monitor three lines on the TBB ping monitor, all three of which are with different ISPs. All are showing a big increase in latency since around midday today. I am using one of the connections myself and I am certainly noticing the increased latency connecting to sites...

Anyone else?

My download speed on FTTP dropped from 300Mbps to single digits from around 1pm, recovering now. On Aquiss, they apparently got a 'few reports'! https://ebilling.aquiss.net/serverstatus.php

It's a bit concerning if that's how TalkTalk's network reacts to such an event. Here's a TTB graph:

As the saying goes... "pays your money, takes your choice" smile

No visible issues on my Virgin Media DOCSIS coax connection. (no more than usual!).

You had a build up around 13:00 ... my BT service had a real slow patch from just before 13:00 to 15:15 which tied in with the England match.

I would guess that it was being stream by a massive number of viewers.
