Contacting Openreach

Trying to find a contact email for OR, (did look on their site, but can't get past EiVA) as I would like to find out what work has been planned for my lane,after finding details on One.network.
Currently working from home, so need my connection,as bad as it is, plus access along the lane at times.

Openreach are not a public facing organisation so you can't contact them directly, even if you could they wouldn't tell you much, certainly not detailed information for planned work at a specific address.

All you can do is use their checker and see if FTTP is planned for your address then use the 'register my interest' or keep me updated' buttons.

You can inform them directly of damage to their street furniture. As you say though, asking questions isn't possible.

Ask the highway authority, they will have a permit raised for the work

You could post details here if you feel comfortable sharing postcode information and it's possible that someone who works for Openreach could drop by and give you an update

Openreach don't publish their detailed plans, for the very sensible reason that when they did, people got upset when those plans changed.

Even if you see streetworks, and coils of fibre on poles, sometimes those deployments are abandoned. The short version is: it's not available until it's available.

If instead you're just worried about disruption when they're working, then:
(a) it's unlikely to be as bad as you think; and
(b) the council will have permits for the work; and
(c) you can get yourself a backup connection, e.g. 4G/5G mobile, if coverage is suitable

My reading of this is that you are not after deployment plan, but just the works going on in your lane to ensure you still have physical access and connectivity. Is that correct?

If so, your Local Authority will have teh exact contact details for OR & their contractors and should share that with you. OR will talk to you about this.

I know exactly the sort of problem you want to when contractors arrive in a road, stop you access your house and then damage cables.
