Do Virgin still lay all their own fibre?

When Virgin Media cover a new area today do they share ducts/poles with Openreach or do they run their own trenches past every property?

Based on my local area it’s a mix.

They’re rolling out to new areas in Northumberland now - these are are a mix of old terraces and estates built decades ago.

Roadworks show there is micro-trenching outside each property with a Toby box ready to connect that home. I think that leads to the BT ducting as at key locations around the area there have been virgin media cabinets built near to BT existing underground chambers.

For my specific area the BT lines come underground to a pole that serves some homes and neighbouring poles. The issue virgin would have here is they all connect to the rear of the property which isn’t great for TV services.
