iPad with Verizon Router

[link to this post]

My iPad connection to the Verizon Router. Most of the time when the iPad wakes up it says it is connected to the network, but I have no internet connectivity. I can either turn Airplane mode on & off, or restart the iPad, and things are fine. I've tried the Apple Store twice, Apple Support twice, and the Apple support community. They all seem to think it's my home network, not the iPad. This doesn't happen all the time but I'd say over 60% of the time. When this happens and I look at the network status, the iPad does not show any of my neighbor's networks. Once I've restarted the it, I see my neighbor's networks listed. I have no other symptoms I've run into. No other devices have this issue.

I set up an iPad for a club, and it exhibited the same behavior a couple times. I was on out the other day on another network, Put the iPad to sleep multiple times and never had a problem.

Wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior and any ideas if there is something in the router that needs to be changed.

Thanks

I have an iPads that also have SIM connections where they occasionally get confused and require an 'airplane' mode cycle.
You can ensure your wifi is compliant and use 5Ghz band if you can split it.

There are some features on devices with a SIM based connections that you really want to turn off such as Wifi 'assist' and some security features may be causing issues so try disabling Private wifi address.
