This is an inherited BT socket and was in place before I moved in and the connection has been fine for 9 years until a few months ago, when it went down and would not reconnect at all.
I removed the faceplate to see a complete jumbled mess of wiring and one wire was loose (white one, middle left). I put it back in the small socket (no.5) it looked like it had come out of. Due to the wiring mess, I was unable to put the faceplate back, as with any movement, the connection dropped. I've dealt with a similar issue in the past at my old place and had to leave a faceplate undone with the cable plugged into the test socket.
The connection was stable until it became unstable while streaming this afternoon, then went down altogether and has been down since. I've checked the wiring and cannot see change or loose wiring, I may be missing something.
Google Lens wasn't much help in checking how the wiring should be in this old type socket LJ2/1A
I took a couple of photos to see if the wiring is correct or not or if it is a lost cause and I am going to have to contact Uno for an Openreach call out and wear the fee, which I could do without right now, but I need the connection to be able to work (which I was also doing whilst streaming the footie)!

Thanks in advance for any help or advice. Cheers.
