Not sure which sub forum to use to hope this is ok here?
Boring background coming up:
Currently using Zen FTTC (or might be SOGEA?) with a PAYG (no inclusive calls package) digital voice line
We are due to get Netomnia in our area soon with no sign of any other FTTP providers showing an interest.
As far as I know, only their own subsidiary YouFibre offers the home retail Full fibre product and have a digital phone line but only offer inclusive call packages, not just PAYG.
As FTTC will be new to me, I may end up changing provider if/when other ISP's become available.
So the question is, if I decide to leave Zen, can I easily port my landline number to someone like AAISP and port the broadband to YouFibre (or AN Other) without service disruption. Also, can I easily port my digital phone number to someone like AAISP anytime I want anyway?
That (I assume) would allow me to keep the phone line and switch Internet supplier as/when I wish to. Or is it more complicated than that?
Any advice gratefully received.
