VOIP

Does swapping a landline with VDSL terminate the line if ported to VOIP? Want to keep number but contract doesn't end til 23 Oct 26 and there is a £300 early termination fee.

Yes typically. The act of porting out a number associated with a bundled service will typically cause the entire service to be ceased (and any early termination penalties will also kick in). Double check with TTB though.

Yes, both myself and family members moved number to AAISP VoIP service and that ceased the Plusnet service as well. I had moved to a non twisted pair provider for my internet. (No fibre here).
