Configuring a third party router on Vodafone

[link to this post]

Hi, I hope I have posted this in the right forum?
I have a fibre connection (150mb) with Vodafone, they have just recently provided me with a static IP address, I just wondered what info that I would need from them to set up my own router rather than using their standard THG3000 Router. I assume I need my Username, password, VLAN, static ip adress with subnet mask, do I need the "upstream gateway address"? I assume that is the next hop on from my router in Vodafones network?
Just to clarify I want to replace their router with my own, not use mine alongside theirs.
Thanks in advance
Pete

Maybe a post in Vodafone might be the best place for your question . Good luck.

Received a letter just the other day ..

If Cityfibre vLan 911 / OpenReach vLan 101

You have to ask Vodafone PPPoE username/password

YouTube: OpnSense PPPoE working on Vodafone UK FTTP/FTTH service.

Openreach doesn't use a vlan for vodafone.. Kingston Communications (Hull area) uses a vlan of 101.
