Help city fibre claim still constructing to my house

[link to this post]

Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right forum listing. I have been
trying to get a new full fibre connection via CityFibre network, who
"completed work" in my road about six years ago.
This all began when I wanted to get connected via Cuckoo, CityFibre
themselves emailed four days after we established a contract (and Cuckoo
sent us their router) to say they're cancelling the connection. No
reason given, and I was told "speak to Cuckoo".

Cuckoo were unable to give any reason except for "we don't think there
is a connection point for your house" (paraphrased). Given that every
other house on my road has the ability to connect including my
neighbours to either side, I find this unlikely.

Following this I checked CityFibre's own website to see if there was
actually an issue. My postcode shows up with all the houses in the road,
but clicking on my house directly it claims "work is still ongoing in my
area".

There is no way of directly contacting CityFibre other than for health
and safety concerns. The AI chatbot they use to field customer inquiries
simply leads you in a loop because if there is a connection issue
CityFibre believes this to be a problem to be taken up with your ISP.
However, it's quite difficult to contact an ISP about a supposedly
unfinished network. Several ISPs I have contacted all claim that the
work in my area is unfinished or that I have an awkwardly located property.

Is there any way that I can prod CItyFibre into looking a bit deeper
into things or will I have to resort to 5G/ (at great expense) starlink.
I have also tried BT but it simply isn't an option for my area.

We have a similar problem at our church. A year ago Vodafone offered to move us from 4G dongle broadband to City Fibre and all was arranged. City Fibre guys turned up and found the Toby box obviously placed for our church was registered to a different postcode. Hence they couldn't install because the system wouldn't let them. Still not sorted our and I doubt it ever will. We are currently negotiating for an Open Reach install from the other side of the building which does seem available to our postcode.

I imagine you have a similar issue and it will take a lot of pressure to get it sorted.

I live in a 5 storey block of 15 individual flats les than a kilometre away from main telephone exchange for south side of Glasgow. About a year and half ago Openreach installed fibre cable right up to the final telecom box at our front entrance. They have also carried out a route survey of interior of building and issued all flat owners with a proposed route plan right up to the final box serving each flat . This routing document has been approved by all flat owners yet still we wait . More annoying is that newly built blocks of flats across the road from us is fully FTP enabled. How can we encourage Openreach to complete their installation.?

Ask Openreach what the cause of the delay is? Who owns the public area of the building? Does that owner also have to agree to the installation?
