here. I've seen that health warning about the Starmer govt on other gov.uk pages, and I suspect it's not a good sign. And DSIT has been reorganised since. Not quite sure if this is the same as the The Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill you both referred to - wasn't that about giving leaseholders some rights to buy the freehold?
As @David_W2 says, the govt hasn't responded to the consultation, which ended last Feb. I sympathise with leaseholders in this predicament, but as I'm no longer one myself I would not likely get much traction complaining to my MP about it. Maybe those folks that are should start pestering their MPs to try to get this moving.
