Memory Question

[link to this post]

I have two spare sticks of DDRII memory that runs at 8oomhz. Could I put this in a motherboard which took lower speed memory?

Thanks in advance.

Providing the moterboard supports DDR2 memory - yes. The memory should downclock to the correct speed. This has been the case since SDRAM and PC66 / PC100 so I don't see why it should differ now.
